D2L(Desire2Learn) for Parents:

• To log into your child’s computer use the username: cmsuser and the password 123qwe
• You can access the site from any computer with Internet access. Click on Internet Explorer then type in the following address: d2l.cullmancats.net (Please note that it’s D2L in lowercase letters and does not include the ‘www’ prefix.)
• You will be directed to the login page. Your child’s login is their legal firstname.lastname and should not include any spaces or capital letters. This is true for MOST students but not all.
• Your child’s password is ccs followed by the last 4 digits of their social security number. EX: ccs1234 would be an appropriate password for a student whose SSN ends with 1234.
• Once you have logged into D2L, you will land on your child’s homepage. From here, you can access assignments, announcements, and grades. Click on any course (in the center of the page, listed in blue)

• As you click on each course, you may see ‘Events’ listed in the events section of each course page. This is where you and your student will find homework assignments for each course. You may also note some News in the center of the page, near the top. Teachers will be announcing test dates, project due dates, and reminders here. Also, as you click on each course, you may notice that more choices have been offered below the blue bar.
• Click on Grades to check your student’s grades for that course. To select another course, click ‘My Home’ located above the Cullman City School icon.
